Our HistoryThe Troubadour was formed in early 1999 when Cec and Frank met at a local bush dance. The original aim of the group was to learn traditional music to cater for the monthly bush dance as a house band. After a few attempts at playing music in a small group, it soon came clear that there was a passion to play more than dance music. Our first folk clubCec, Frank and Marilyn started going to folk festivals and Concerts The Troubadour meets at the CWA Hall , The Boulevarde Woy Woy across from the Wharf and Fisherman's Wharf.
We usually meet on the 4th Saturday of the month, although some dates may change due to public holidays and festivals so please check for dates of events as time gets near
We usually have a guest performer and have floor spots available for those wishing to do a couple of songs. Entry fees are applicable to Concert nights and include supper. See the Events page for more information.
